After I built the "Mini Star Fighters", which was loosely based on the "Vipers" from "Battlestar Galactica" I wanted to build a "Raptor", and here it is (though this also is just loosely based on it). I think it turned out okey, but not as good as the fighters. This model uses 31 pieces (the fighters is made of 27 pieces).
The troop carrier is landing, dropping of six soldiers on the ground.

Side picture. The black piece at the front is its weapon. Though its weapons isnīt as strong as the fighters, they can still cause some damage (both against other ships aswell as ground vehicles and troops.
Here is a size comparison with one of the fighters. As you can see they are about the same size.
