Great airplane. And, thanks for clarifying the disticntion between Gatling and chain guns. I'd always lumped them together. |

Not sure if I prefer the Black Knight or Schoefield. They're both epic, but I think the Knight has more experience... Btw, do you have any idea when the new book will come out? |

Is the name the 'Halicarnassus' from the Jack west Jr books by the Australian author Matthew Reilly? In the book, it is a black boeing 747 kitted out with missiles and turrets.
Spot on. |

Sir, where have you been all these years?! I'm afraid that you are another victim of that horrible monster called 'Obscurity.' You should be way more popular for the quality of your MOCs. Keep on brickin'! |

Very nice techniques on this, makes it look pretty sweet! Ammo feed chains were a great touch, and the wings are just awesome. Good going! |

Cool design! Gatling guns are the way to go in this application. Those A-10 Warthogs have them, and the Phalanx CIWS on US carriers are a Gatling, too. Surprised you didn't go with a skinny tail at a 45 degree angle, you know, for stability and all. |

Those are not gatling guns, since those are from the American civil war.
These seem more like chain guns or mini guns
The correct term is Gatling Gun.
A chain gun is a type of machine gun or autocannon that uses an external source of power, rather than diverting energy from the cartridge and The Minigun is a 7.62 mm, multi-barrel machine gun with a high rate of fire (up to 6,000 rounds per minute), employing Gatling-style rotating barrels with an external power source. In popular culture, the term "minigun" has come to refer to any externally-powered Gatling gun of rifle. Not meaning to be rude, im just making a point thanks to wikipedia. :D |
