Releasing Han from the Carbonite
I have been wanting to do this scene for quite some time and it's finally done! I am very happy with the outcome. Many of the figs are customized with Fine Clonier water slide decals. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. And notice the nice glow under Han...
About this creation

Classic shot of Han in the trophy room.

Enter Boushh.

Boushh starts the "thawing" process.

Dirt is not the first thing I would want to taste after being encased in Carbonite.

"I can't see, who are you?"

"Someone who made way too much noise getting you out. Now let's go."

"Ha ha ha ha. Any louder and you would have awakened the Rancor!"

Don't look now, more henchmen to corral one woman and one blind smuggler.

A close up shot of my custom curved staircase.

Droopy McCool and Max Rebo join the fun. Salacious Crumb should be tan, I know, but I didn't have the right parts.

"Hey, Jabba, can't we discuss this like civilized human... oh, right."

"Ok, I'll wear that really small metal bikini, but I won't like it as much as all the guys will!"

I made this a couple years ago with the intent of doing this scene. But recently I saw that MaxRebo did a whole Palace scene and made something similar. So I'll mention him to avoid any Imperial entanglements.

I have to give Legostein credit for the Boushh helmet idea. The water slide decals are from Fine Clonier.

The tauntaun head is an original custom. I had a lot of fun designing this and am happy with how it came out.

Not much is known about this trophy head. I had to heavily adjust a screen capture to be able to get a good look at it.

Custom Droopy and Max. I know Droopy should probably be in Tan, but again, lack of proper parts.

My custom Ree Yees now with the proper attire.

Overall view of the trophy room.

This set was designed for all interior shots, so the outside is pretty rough looking. But it got the job done.

Really nice work, I love the fact that you made your own carbonite for this moc, and that glow underneath Han looks really great!

The first picture is great (the lighting is ingenious!) but the walls are a bit too studdy in my opinion.

"So I'll mention him to avoid any Imperial entanglements" classic. I am a big fan of the Hansickle piece. I used him as a guy who had been run over by a steam roller in a dio. It was a real crowd pleaser. He looks cool as a ghost in a closet too! This MOC of yours is a massive collection of details. Well done. Attack!

Quoting EXEMPLAR INC Everyone loves the carbonite-Han scenes - check out the "brickartist.com" for a life-size Han in carbonite - the artist there is very talented.
Yes, I have seen that before. The creations there are remarkable.

Yes, great job on the lighting, very important in a scene such as this. Ree Yees, never seen him in Lego, very convincing. Excellent!

Quoting Captain Connor Patterson Awesome! How did you get that glow under Han?
In the last pic you can sort of see how I did it. I set it up on a couple boxes, cut out the cardboard the size of the area under Han, and put a light under it. Viola!

I think you've captured it quite well. I like the Ree Yees and wall trophies, among other things. I'm too inexperienced to appreciate what went into making frozen Han, but it looks good.

Fantastic light effects! I like the different aliens, especially Max and Droopy! ( I´m really a fan of Max!) So... Great, that you´ve build him! By the way: Would you have a look at my newest MOC ( Smaug the Golden, last of the big dragons), please?

A 9 for diorama, an 8 for mini-figures, and a 9 for overall. That would be an 8.66 average score or rounded a 9 out of 10. Good job, a very accurate depiction of that scene in Episode VI.

Quoting Mike Bernd Very cool. You really went the extra mile one this one with all those decals and lighting. Figures look bomb, and the carbonite slab is pro. I think the unidentified trophy head is from a Jerba. Great scene!
I do remember reading somewhere that it could be a Jerba, but the screen capture showed horns and looked more like a bull. So that's what I patterned it off of.
