Singin' in the Rain
"I'm singin' in the rain, just singin' in the rain. What a glorious feelin', I'm happy again!"
About this creation
Entry in The Mob Rules, Round 3, Group B, Category "Song and Dance Number"

This MOC is based off of (but not an exact replica of) the classic song and dance number Singing in the Rain as performed by Gene Kelly.

The musical notes floating away from the singer were a random product of my fiddling around. I really like how they look and will have to try to use them again later.

I had a hard time getting good pictures, but this final one here made all of the struggling worth it.

I'm aware that one of my fellow Mob Rules contestants (Casey McCoy) uploaded a "Singing in the Rain" entry earlier, but my entry was not in any way influenced by his.

I may just have to steal those notes (with credit, as always) in the future. You've done a great job making them appear to float in the air.

I must have been distracted or out of time last I visited your folder, cause this is so cute and well built. And random fiddling pays off again, as it usually does. The floating notes tickle.

I am amazed! The visor being used as a puddle splash is brilliant, and the music notes are perfect!

The minifig is really the best part of the build. I don't know why exactly, but he totally captures the whole atmosphere of the build for me.

Quoting Wes Pitter Easy fix for next time - music notes should all be facing the same direction, unless I'm mistaken.
Good call, I should have caught that.

Deja vu, all over again! Ha ha. Nice job, and good use of parts. Easy fix for next time - music notes should all be facing the same direction, unless I'm mistaken. I too know the frustration of trying to get good pictures, so good going.

Wow, I love all the differences between your Singing in the Rain and mine. I considered doing this part of the scene, but now I'm glad I didn't. You did a great job with the music notes and all the details! Keep it up!
