About this creation
Main display: Steyr USR (variant of the AUG)
USR: Universal Sporting Rifle
AUG: Armee Universal Gewehr
My fifth version of the Steyr Aug. I redesigned the stock to give it the sleek look seen on the real gun. I created a working magazine release, too. The firing mechanism has been removed in order to include disassembly parts.
Features:
Functional trigger
Removable magazine
Rotational forehand grip
Functional cocking lever
Cartridge exit slot
Comfortable handgrip
Sleek body style
Removable parts
Left or right handed (interchangeable)
AUG to USR attachment

4.5/5, your best yet. I love the dissasembly and the magazine release catch, along with the features like a left-right charging handle, folding front grip, and the good looking ejection port. Does the port open when the handle is pulled back? Conversion to the USR is nice, and in this case I prefer it to your standard AUG. However, I am sorry to say that I really am not a fan of that method of making a magazine curve. The front grip could be slightly more contoured and the barrel might be better without the technic pieces with their little connector holes. I recall the trigger being bit larger and sticking out more from the grip, and the scope having tiny pistol sights on the top as a backup, but these all are very small negatives compared to your wonderful improvements, especially on the body. Great work, and looking forward to another MOC from you. |

Im guessing this was after the disaster with the old steyr and famas? anyway awsome work man, my favorite gun in lego form. only thing i wish i could do is remake one with more colors to seperate the parts and give it detail and make little pegs to shoot kids in the head... =))) |

Your best AUG yet. It has a semi realistic field strip, and is all black. I like the way you can convert the cocking mechanism to fit either right or left handed shooters. If only you could make the ENTIRE thing black, but i realize that some of the pieces you used dont come in black. The only thing that could use work is the scope, but other than that, I think it was wonderful finale to your AUG series of guns. Great Job. P.S, I have created a new e-mail, gun_freak_2@hotmail.com. Also, could you review my G36C, I would like some constructive criticism on what I need to improve. I will be entering it in a contest on October 28th. Thanks, keep up the awesome work. |

finally the stock has the right slope!!! the conversion is a nice addition, as well as the different configurations for left-handed or right-handed users, the mag release is a nice addition as well, great job :) |

You definately captured the shape right. The connection between the scope and the gun seems a little thin, though. |
