About this creation

The challenge with this MOC was to build a better plane than the jet from the TLG set n°5892 without using extra parts. This plane is inspired by the Eurofighter Typhoon. Sorry for the bad pics but I'm on vacation you know :-) so no Photoshop editing this time.

It took me a second look before I realised that this is a different plane than the original. It's a bit questionable though how the 2 canopies are connected in your version... 5892 looks like a great set, with lots of useful elements. Thanks for sharing!

John, how do you find the time to build on vacation? This is really cool. I really like how you slipped the canopies together. Great looking jet! Regards, Eric.

It really doesn't stress the canopy. It's tight enough to hold the part but not enough to stretch the canopy. I use transclear tape to make the connection between the two canopies sturdy.

Hm, I know that TLG lacks a good airplane canopy, but still I'm not a fan of your windscreen. It stresses the parts too much for my taste. Nice work otherwise.
