I built this as a gift for my good friend Dave Xandegar before Brickworld. Dave was kind enough to offer to house me for the upcoming Brickworld 2010 event, so I figured I owed him a special gift. It didn't take me long to think of building this car, because we had talked about some of the cars he had owned, and this one just seemed to stand out among the other cars for him. I started designing this build on LDD toward the end of my freshmen year of college. I followed the building instructions, and here we have the finished product with a few modifications. Thanks for visiting.
I hope you enjoyed this build as much as I have. Thanks for visiting. Photos taken by Dave Xandegar.
Great work! I like the detail and the grill is excellent.

Thanks for the great comments for our Good Friend Anthony! His cars get better and better, and this Galaxie was not only a fabulous gift, but a down right excellent MOC! It is our honor to own this beauty (which will get a special display stand made), and it was our honor to be part of a fine Young Builder's first public exhibition...great work, Anthony...and thanks again for the beautiful car, and a good friendship! Dave & J-man :)
Nicely done! I remember a while ago there was a challenge over on flickr to make a Ford Galaxie :0 I opted out of that challenge, but there were some nice results :) This is rather good compared to most of the entries, and definitely the best medium scale Galaxie I've seen! Nice work on the undercarriage details! Great work, keep it up! 5/5 -Dylan
