hmm.. well there not really the same, for instance; there are no iron sights on the hk417, bigger Mag, shorter barrel and the stock is different...

It seems odd to me that you would make an MR762 instead of the full auto HK417. Although it would really just be a matter of deciding what to call your model as both rifles are virtually identical. To each his own, I guess. Could you post some close up detail pictures of your front sight? I can't quite see how you made it from what you've posted.
