I built this as a gift for some of my good friends whom I met at Brickworld 2010, Dave and Stacy Sterling. I heard a while back that they had been into rallying in the US, and was interested right away-being a car guy anyway. I started out with building the front bumper and grille and lights, but the problem was, "How do I attach this snotted up bumper to the car?" I figured it out, so I am happy now. I couldn't part with the original model, so I bought and received some Parts from Dave Xandegar, who wanted to help make the gift as well. I hope you enjoyed this build as much as I have! Thanks you for stopping by.
Photo credit and custom stickers goes to Dave Xandegar- thank you Dave!

Haha, I am so happy you build the Rally version. In Europe we know them as Talbot Horizon or Sumbeam Horizon, but never this goodlooking, that's for sure! |

Okay...so I have no idea how I missed commenting on this pure masterpiece!!!! Seriously Anthony...thank you so much for this. You have no idea how happy I was to see you build this. And then to top it off...you gave us one to take home from Brickworld which was nothing short of completely awesome. You're a great builder and just a genuinely nice guy. A really great build and I look at it on the "trophy wall" everyday before I go to work. I keep finding new things to love about it every time. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!!!! |

Really good!! I think lego cars need to have more studs, and this shows that perfectly! Really great job.
And I agree with Dylan, Flickr is very smooth and runs faster. |

This is awesome :) Looks just like the pictures you provided! Hey, you should get an account on flickr.com to post your cars, the LEGO fan base is huge on that site. For me it also runs a lot faster and smoother, MOCpages is very slow to comment on :P At least for me it is... Anyways, nice work as usual! 5/5 |

No...thank YOU, Anthony! You did a terrific job, and the way things get crazy for John and I, we might not have gotten around to it in time! Dave and Stacy are two of the most refreshing and genuine People in the Lego Artist Community, and Good Friends. We're glad to have helped out on this one...it came out really well! |
