House in the Hamptons
About this creation
I was recently commissioned to create a model of this mansion in the Hamptons, which will be presented to the owners as a gift and set on display inside the real house.

House in the Hamptons: LEGO sculpture by artist Sean Kenney

The house has lots of nice places to sit outside!

It's 3 feet wide, built with 5,900 pieces, and has more doors than a Jim Morrison fan club.

My entire home is the size of their kitchen.

Sean my neighbor, I am so very familiar with your work and your story. I promissed myself what comment can anyone make that wasn't made before? God has blessed you a thousand fold with skill beyond measure. Well this model made me break my rule. It's what you said: "commission". I thought if Charm City Cakes and Cake Boss have shows for their commissioned cakes, why not a LEGO show? There would be such an audience for it. Please communicate with me. You have made a fan for life out of me!

I agree Sean with the way you build the roof. I hate LEGO roof tiles. I always build they way your've done this house.

Nice one Sean! This is the first architectural MOC I've seen you post in a while - and it is a winner in my books. Favourite feature has to be the technique you used for the single seater chairs, a pity they don't make a SNOT version of those clip pieces :) ~Thoy
