SF-3 Vengeance Star Fighter
Welcome one and all to Dr. Whackemoff’s newest venture! After building a series powerful mechs bent on spreading carnage throughout the universe, Dr. W. has decided to clamp down with his steely claw on the space ship market and snag a piece of the action here as well. His first masterpiece is theSF-3. This one man star-fighter is a custom job requested by Col. Nikolas Kamirzakoff of the Secret Intelligence Division (S.I.D.) of G.A.I.A. The SF-3 or Vengeance as it became known by is the personal craft of Kurzdan Dalkeinus upon becoming the latest cyber soldier of the S.K.A.R.S. (Suicide Kings Atrocity Retribution Stratagem) PROJECT. Unlike traditional smooth hulled space ships utilized by most modern civilian and military vessels, the Vengeance’s rough exterior was purposely chosen so as to fool both Dragonne and G.A.I.A. forces into thinking this craft is just some flying scrap heap and not a state of the art killing machine. It was reported that when two technicians were overheard by Dr. W. one day while working on the landing gear about its looks he interjected the phrase that defines this bird better that any other ever could, “this little lady isn’t any SNOT, but she is one mean ass bitch!”
About this creation

A new type of weapon found on this machine is the angled laser cannon. The barrels of these weapons may be adjusted to target enemy ships above or below the hull of the ship. This proves a fatal surprise to any foe who thinks they can strafe the Vengeance unopposed from such an attack vector. Six of these guns are strategically placed with four of them firing forward and two aft.

The Vengeance is also equipped with two P-47 Soul Scorcher heavy plasma cannons. These forward mounted guns each fires an energy burst every 5 seconds that can easily destroy an enemy Dragonne fighter but are intended for crippling larger capital ships. When barbecuing space lizards is the order of the day no other gun does it better!

Attached to the nosecone is also the primary targeting sensor.

This shot details the Faster Than Light (FTL) drive mounted behind the cockpit. Various mounting clamps and power relays are visible as well. The matter/anti-matter chamber provides a virtually unlimited power supply for all the ships weapons and functions. It also reveals the secondary thrusters for maneuvering attached to each side of the drive system.

To reduce weight, an Ajax-2 Series Electro Magnetic Force Shield Generator (an improved version of the one found on the Haywire mech) is built into the fuselage underneath the FTL drive. By going with a shield generator, the need for heat resistant armor plating was eliminated. This shield has two distinct power settings. The first is for reentry onto atmospheric planets. By redirecting all of the shields power to below the ship, the Vengeance literally rides the force field down into the atmosphere without being exposed to the tremendous temperatures created by a reentry burn. The second setting is for combat. Unlike the previous Ajax system, this shield can be kept up for fifteen minutes before shutting down for two minutes to reset itself. Also, once the Ajax has completed resetting itself it can be activated instantly instead of needing an hour of down time as in the previous model.

The flight controls in the cockpit uses a twin joystick system perfected by Dr. W. tied to a Sure-Kill targeting computer that allows complete control of the craft in both atmospheric and deep space maneuvers while the forward flipping canopy reveals Kurzdan at the ready to increase kill ratio.

Another innovation here is the folding wing design. These wings are required only for atmospheric flight and can be jettisoned in space if necessary. The initial intention was for storage of the craft while in dock but Dr. W. came up with idea of adding missile pylons for that extra panache.

The standard missile array typically consists of two Viper one-shot, one kill homing missiles and two Python EMP mini-bombs. The Viper missiles are for those high speed buggers that aren’t willing to die in blaze of laser bursts while the Pythons are perfect for turning squads of enemies into sitting ducks for merciless slaughter!

His personal heavy blaster is for blowing medium sized holes through regular Dragonne warriors.

For elite Dragonne, Kurzdan whips out his Decimator Rotary Gun. Guaranteed to make a mess when it counts!

Yet sometimes elite warriors can even survive a direct hit from the Decimator. So Kurzdan decides to go medieval on their arses with his diamond tipped chainsaw. It slices, it dices, it makes Julian Fries (Umm, yeah)! Anyway so much for those hardened scaly hides. Now the only thing that lizard is good for is a pair of boots and a belt!

There's nothing more pleasing than the sounds of a chainsaw ripping through the neck of an overgrown lizard!

Big game hunter trophy pose.

Pile those corpses nice and high for the camera.

Hmmm, tastes like chicken! Be sure to turn in for more adventures with the man with ice in his veins, murder in his eyes and an abyss of darkness for a heart.

Trust me, keep building fighters, you really have a knack for them. Marc, Jason, yourself and myself are all GAIA, and all seriosuly adept at making lego starfighters - which is probably what drew us together in the first place - and yet we so rarely do?

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix I really like the shape of this fighter. The wings are a bit too wide in my opinion, but it still looks great. The main body shape is spectacular. I know how much it bites when you lose all your previous stuff. But I take it as an opportunity to make things even better the next time around.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've tried to do SNOT wings but I just don't have enough parts to make them look good so that's an ongoing challenge. You're also right about rebuilding old designs. The biggest regret to losing my old work was that I liked to use it as reference material so I wouldn't have to keep reinventing the ideas I wanted to use on future projects.

Quoting christophe corthay NOOOOO !!!!! BLAST 'EM ALL !!!! The aliens are green, they don't smell good and you don't understand what they say sooooo who could you destroy ????? Very cool construction...
Well I had to give Kurzdan someone to hate and desire revenge upon for slaughtering his family. If that don't work for you then we'll just have to blame Parrington for inspiring this little vignette! He's the one who got me to take a look at your MOC's in the first place although I don't think he knows that. I'm glad I did.

Quoting Parrington Levens I love the muscle car look you and MArc are giving your GAIA fighters. This as you witfully stated, may not be SNOT, but is mean as, a real beast! tHe folding wings rock, the blocky bits, the whole thing, I love it, so glad you did a fighter cos you got some real style going...Long live GAIA!

Quoting Yuri Fassio Wonderful classic fighter. Very aggressive, and I also like the colors :)
The primitive look on this one came out especially well. I'd pit this baby against any of those second rate "star worn" out fighters any day of the week!

"Why thank you, thank you very much" quoting the king (Elvis) baby! Anyway it was time for a change and I needed to get back into good old fashioned star fighters. Stay tuned, there will be more to come!
