First of all, I'd like to apoloize for being such a non-particapatory jerk this past year or so. Excuse #1. I've been without internet for the past three months (Grrrrr), and it's been kind of nuts just keeping track of what's going on at MOC pages, let alone taking part! Excuse #2. Just plain busy! Busy with both non-LEGO and LEGO (hopefully the following will attest to that!). So without any further lame, self-pitying B.S. I give you Chapter Two of the Max and Pugsy saga!
About this creation

I'm not sure how well it reads, but the idea was a giant flying putter-pod was shot down and was impaled on the center tower. Perhaps larger, battle-damaged engines would convey that better, as well as some wires and cables sticking out of the eye socket (speaking of which, I know I've seen the technique of looping a bunch of those side-studded pieces before, but I can't remember where, if anyone can tell me if that originated with one particular builder, it'd be much 'preciated!). I'm also thinking of making the mountain taller, spreading out the machinery a bit, and letting a bit more stone work show.
I knocked myself out trying to make some crazy greebly eye ball to put at the top of the tower. After many crappy-looking attempts, I finally conceded that a white round thing makes for a good eye! And hey Blazing Saddles fans! The list of naughty behaviours that the eye detects was inspired by the list of mercenary outlaws as dictated by Heddy Lamarr! Rest in peace, Harvey Korman.
Bad joke, yes, expect to see it more in the future.
Why do fleshy guys never get scared?
TANK-RANTULA (I dumped my earlier hypno-monocle idea in favor of the undead, as cool as hypnotizm is, zombie-cyborgs are far cooler!)
BATTY (Yeah, thats pretty lazy, I'll think of a better name later.)
SAMU-ROD (Cause' he's a samurai hot-rod! But that sounds kind of dirty, Ill probably change that too.)

I happened to type in Blazing Saddles in the search and it came up with your MOC and one that I had created a while back. I loved your design and creativity. Anyway, if you get a chance, check out my MOC of the line of villians from Blazing Saddles. |

Dude, on a scale of 1 to 100, This breaks the scale into little ity-bity pieces(as in it's so awsome). And plus, I'm planning on making a steampunk-type model and I'm wanting to know if you can give me some tips.
Tips? Was there some particular technique you were curious about? I don't really consider myself a steampunk expert but it's hard to go wrong with lots of exposed gears, and everyone loves wagon wheels! |

This is just too cool for words. I'll just point out twoo of the more obsure cool things: The archetecture in the orphan labor scene (that window is genius) and the custume gears on the giant fortress. The story is Dr. Suess gone horrific, everything is simply to cool! |

"It may be that I'm crazy, weird or just plain goofy, but this thing looks like its right out of Banjo-Kazooie!" --- Gorgeous build, mine eyes have not beheld such angles before! I think you've used every technique in the book, all you have left to do is add a huge spire with an eyeball impaled.....oh, wait...you did. |

You have breathed an incredible amount of life into the plastic! All the angles are so (un)natural and beautiful. Backstory and parts use and....gah! This is truly one of the most awe-inspiring creations I have ever seen. I will surely be revisiting this and look forward to upcoming creations. |

Simply amazing. Simply, I say, now who's that entrapping? It's plain to see, and this to no doubt, you've conquered the 'pages, and given us to route. -- Eh, so I tried to make it rhyme. Good job regardless, splendid! |
