DawnShire Keep V2
Because the last one was no where near tall enough
About this creation
DawnShire Keep is still my only creation to ever be blogged by the brothers brick. Still, many were disappointed with it. I hope that this one is way better.

Dawnshire Keep V2
The more pieces I get, the bigger I'll make ,em.

DawnShire Keep V2
I finally got enough pieces to build this after buying the King's Castle set.

DawnShire Keep V2
About a year ago, I was building this

Dawnshire Keep V2
I've come along way in a year.

DawnShire Keep V2
I hope to be even better next year at this time.

DawnShire Keep V2
After this moc, I am going to remake the Omega Weekday, a facility I made over two years ago.

DawnShire Keep V2
I'll probably remake a few castles that I have already posted.

DawnShire Keep V2
One day, I'll drag my butt to BrickWorld a build a huge display there.

DawnShire Keep V2
However, due to the fact I'm a junior in high school, money is hard to come by.

Dawnshire Keep V2
I also wish Tennessee had a Lego store so I could buy more plants.

Dawnshire Keep V2
I'm excited about his year's classic castle contest, hopefully I can make more of a splash.

Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks for looking.

Here is the brickshelf gallery when modded.

Later~

hey man don't feal to bad about not having a lego store in tennesse I live in baton rouge lousiana and the closest lego store is on the way to gatlinburg tennesse (i am here right now) the lego store is in burmingham and it isn't even that big to start with. so most of My pieces come from the lego store online or target when I buy lego sets :)

Hey you're doing better than me bro I just finished high school and even though I'm buying bricks daily I am still mostly broke and have virtually nothing to offer to this website yet. Very nice job - you surely look like you know the pros' way of building!

Very nice! I'd love to see it on a larger area with walls around it. Also, if you want to make it a little more historically accurate, place the stairs going up to the keep sideways, instead of straight on. This was done so that attackers had less room to swing their swords. You could also add hoardings, though that would be a bit trickier. Still, it's a great castle, 5/5.

Quoting Matija Grguric You did a great job on this one! I hope we'll see your displays once on BrickWorld! :)
Thanks, that means a ton coming from you. And @ Michael: the blue house is just a cottage/tavern for peasents.

Quoting Chris Phipson It's really too bad you're not coming to Brickworld next year. Coulda really used you on one of the smaller group projects. Great work LL! You ALWAYS knock it out of the park with castle! ~ Chris.
Thanks Chris. I wish I could go to Brickworld, but it takes 9 hours by car, and I don't have that kind of money. However, my mom has a friend who lives in Chicago, and she wants to visit her soon,so I might be able to make it next year or my senior year of high school.

This is one of the nicest medieval MOCs I have seen so far! Very nice details. But who needs a store nearby as long as we have bricklink?

Very, very nice. Atlanta is your best bet on a Lego store from TN, but doesn't help much if you are in, say, Memphis. Can't wait to see more additions.

Quoting Nitrosity The CyborgNinja epic castle! i like the little tower with the rangers on top, and the cross shaped windows are great! one thing though, you wish there was a lego store nearby, cause you need MORE plants!?!? the ground in this moc is covered with plants! although i do agree with you that there should be more lego stores in the world. anyway, awesome castle, great scenery, good job!
Thanks for the comment. There's actually a bare spot behind the watchtower that has very few plants. I ran out, and I didn't think that could happen. Just wait 'till Moffatt reads that.

Brilliant LL. I think you got the naming wrong on it though. It should say 'DawnShire Keep Skyscraper' ;) Lovely scenery as always, and nice architecture.
