The Pickaxe Hotel

This building is a freestyle representation of a corner hotel often seen in Australian cities. Buildings of this type were common amongst 19th Century Australian brewers.
About this creation
With this model I wanted to create a modular corner building limited to a single 16 stud base plate. Until creating this style of modular building I had many box-shaped modulars that when placed together looked a little dull. Having the narrow lane-way running down the side of the hotel creates interest in an otherwise continuous block of street front buildings.
