The Octan Empress, a tanker carrying petroleum from the legendary Oil Asteriods of Alpha Sigma B. It also carries crew for restaffing the Oil Platforms. Octan: terraforming through greenhouse effect, one planet at a time!

Yep. Oil Asteriods of Alpha Sigma B. Imagine a world where oil producing bacteria go out of control, making entire oceans of oil for millions of years. Then an unlucky meteorite or comet impact smashes the planet to bits, and there you go: oil asteriods.

Or you could try to figure out a better reason for an oil tanker in space!

The engines are separated from the main hull so that in the event of a malfunction either the expensive engines can be salvaged or the highly trained crew rescued. No sense in losing them both!

The aerial on the front? No idea. Maybe it's for impaling space-whales - not renowned for their environmental policies are Octan-Space.

love it! i really like how you stuck to the original LEGO octan colors.... P.S. it could be that, in some alternate timeline that someone made while messing around in a time machine, earth finally made a way to create oil sinthetically without harming the environment, and then the two universes merged in an event so cataclysmyc that the fake world got destroyed, and then later we found it!!
