2007 Alpha Motors A-Civil L20. Why go Mercedes?
About this creation
Licence Plate: Calisota XTI-100 (Sorry I haven't attached that yet.)
VIN: DXL1250589DC87Q1O

This model was introduced in 2005 by DC as the M89. It shortly after renamed the L20. The new Promeca wagon (possibly coming soon) is the wagon variant of this car. The luxury sedan uses Alpha's Quattre Drive AWD system, which is why there are links in the undercarrige at the front (hidden) and back. I honestly never thought I would build a white car. But I did. This was possible by dismantaling an old (modified) Space Shuttle Discovery set I had. This 1:23 scale portrayal of the L20 is my newest creation. At 28 studs long (~9 inches) it is longer than the 1998-2006 Mercedes-Benz S-Class!. The car features all opening doors and a detailed grey-on-black interior with wood outfitting. The only thing I had for the steering wheel were black rigid sprockets, which turned out very nicely. We'll call it leather-wrapped. Beverage cooler on center console. The front of the car went through about four different looks before I built it this way. I like how it turned out. It took six days to build and two to tweak. The back brings to mind the new BMW 5-series.
Under the hood we find an Alpha Motors V8, the exact same one as in the Centuial.

Recently I have added some minor detail improvments (mostly interior) and smoked headlights.

I am going to ask that you do not rate without leaving a review.

The front. This took a long time. Standard fog lights.

The slanted lights and overall form bring to mind the BMW 5er...

You can see that the trunk is not as big as in the some other cars, however still very nice for a large sedan. Despite the fact that I couln't fit in a covered spare in this model, I included a wrench for the wheels. There is a chain there, somebody was doing some towing...

The "faux" sunroof. I added a black plate inside the cabin to match the sunroof. Standard satellite radio.

   The interior. Very luxurious.

Everthing open. You can see the capped V8.

Slightly boxy for my tastes, but a good creation nonetheless. Reminds me of my "Family Sedan". Keep building!
