Battlestar Galactica: After The Fall
After narrowly escaping a Cylon missile, Boomer drifts her Raptor towards Caprica to set down for repairs.
About this creation

She lands just outside of Delphi, away from the combat area.

Helo stands watch while repairs are being made.

Seeing the Raptor land, survivors from the city hope for an escape from the holocaust.

Unable to take everyone, Helo must defend the ship.

The traumatized citizens attempt to bribe the Colonial Officer with money from a civilization that no longer exists.

Helo devises a lottery, and the winners board the ship.

The Raptor prepares for takeoff, and Helo, having given up his seat, stays to control the crowd.

Boomer reluctantly begins to launch.

But a crazed Caprican attempts to climb onto the wing.

Helo is left with no other choice but to shoot the man.

The crowd watches as he falls to the ground.

Boomer continues without her ECO to find the Galactica.

She may never see him alive again.

Quoting Mister Bones I missed this little gem! Great ship and I do love the outdoor shots!
Thanks! Thought I'd get back to the minifig scale. I just don't have the variety to come up with any of the other characters.

Quoting Chris Phipson Always nice when you delve in to minifig scale. Cute story too. I woulda shot em all and kept my seat, but I'm just a selfish jerk that way. Nice work! ~ Chris.
Thanks! Yes, problematic scene, not logical. Fine, take the kids, but, really, he should have taken all good looking chicks. His duty as an officer, as you must know.

Quoting Histo Sci So did you choose to make it black of your own accord, not considering parts availability? (I'm just curious). "I didn't feel like getting into the Baltar thing"--he is slimy, isn't he? It's just nice to have a fellow FOL/BSG fan!
Black was what I had, but I've seen several tan raptors, like 2X4's. I haven't gotten around to figuring out how Bricklink works yet. Baltar was on Eureka this week on SciFi channel as some sort of villain, but the show put me sleep...Yes slimy, but a great character. I'm going back to micro for now.

Thanks! Yes, I just now noticed I had a message, never seen that before. Thank you for the invite, but I'm trying to keep my memberships limited at this point. I'll check it out, though.

Quoting Histo Sci Great, as is usual from you. Awesome looking Raptor, and I also like the way you did the flightsuits--difficult no doubt. The one thing I'd like to see, however, is a color-accurate raptor...apparently it is very difficult though (judging from the fact that everybody seems to do them the "wrong" color--correct color parts limitation issue?) But where is Gaius? :-) This was a good scene, and this is a good MOC...I loved Helo for being a man and doing this...I only got very mad at him later for...uh, in case anyone here hasn't gotten that far...the "disease" fiasco...ahem. ;-P Nice work!
Yes, I would suppose tan or sand would be the best available Lego color. But I like the black, even though it is difficult to photograph, even outdoors. I didn't feel like getting into the Baltar thing, and I didn't have any of his hair type. And the disease fiasco, I agree, they could have ended it all there, just like with the Hugh Borg episode on STNG. But that Helo, always the hero. Thanks for the comment!

Quoting Yuri Fassio Hey! I remember this scene! Nicely done, even if I stopped watching the series about the time the writers ran out of ideas and everyone started to be a Cylon!
Hey! Not everyone was a Cylon, well, almost not everyone. Thanks for the comment!

Quoting christophe corthay YEAH !!!!! SHOOT'EM ALL !!!! I hate the traumatized people who still believe to be saved and who want to fly on your viper's wing !! ;-))
Not sure why he had to shoot the guy, really. She could have just gone up a ways and flicked him off...Makes for better TV, I guess. Thanks!

Thanks! An Agents set, it came with a car, a wall with a guard tower and a little chopper. I bought the whole kit just for that windshield.
