The real minifig-scale Pelican is presented. Also match other vehicles of HALO. Because of shortage of the gray parts, the white parts have replace them. As result, this pelican is white which I think it is not bad looking. The pelican took me 5 months to finish which is 2nd long-time-built creation. Be one of HALO fans, I'm proud I have finished this big bird.
This is by far the best I've seen. I see plenty of people have asked. Instructions for all of these would amazing. I'll pay you for them if you have them if not I'll still pay you to make them. I would love all of these to add to my collection.
I made one entirely in dark bley, about the same size as this. I got to the point where I had the hull, landing gear, troop bay, cockpit interior, front wings and engines on swivel joints, most of the tail with a working winch system for hanging the scorpion I also had, then I ran out of parts, and the total for ordering the rest came to over £100
That was my last attempt at a halo model. In my opinion, the mega bloks stuff is very good. The only things that need changing (which is why I tried to build them) are the scorpion, mongoose and pelican.
First of all I wanna say that is bloody AWESOME!!! Can you give me the instructions? PLEASE!!! I BEG YOU!!! I've been looking for things like these but all I got was crap. Send the instructions to email@example.com. THANKS!!! AND GREAT WORKKK!!!!!

I am jealous send me instructions please? I also have a friend who wants instructions too. email: firstname.lastname@example.org
On the off chance that Stephen Chao is actually reading this, I would like to ask for him to upload more pictures to brickshelf/Flickr on the VTOL Engines, the very front cockpit area (With the machine gun, the landing gear, and the camera-looking thing), and the back area! Dissecting those and taking a picture would greatly help the instructions I'm making for this in LDD. I will not be able to continue further without them.
So far I've pretty much finished the cockpit and cabin.
It's a really great pelican, man!
I'm rating this a five even though it made me weep bitter tears that my Pelican will never be this awesome.
Yours beats mine in every respect - realism, play value, versatility, colour, everything. I take my hat off and bend my knee to you.
You are a god.
No joke brother you should take this thing to a LEGO convention or something and show it off. Maybe try to contact LEGO and see if they'll make a kit out of this. I would trade my ENTIRE LEGO COLLECTION to have this Pelican. Honestly, this is better than most kits sold in the LEGO catalog. LEGO coulld take this kit and charge three or four hundred dollars for this thing, and I GUARANTEE people would pay that, or even more, to add this beast to their collection. I know I would. Again, excellent job.
My brother would love to have this in his collection It would be great if you could provide a parts list and instructions to build this awesome creation. I would be willing to pay for this parts list and instructions.
This is a Masterpiece! A truly smashing piece of work, it must have taken many different building techniques before you settled on this one! I agree that the white suits it very well and the grey stripe was a very clever idea. Full of character. Your Pelican is THE one to beat! Well done!
Thats Amazing. You should try getting Bungie, 343, and Lego to have a look at your designs. This is incredible stuff that only need to be improved upon slightly. But you u could maybe get hired on to work on a project like this. I would buy one of these if it was a lego set. It would be the new starwars lego.
Nothing is really perfect, but this Pelican is the darn closest to it on the whole pages. The landing gear, the sliding doors in the interior, the troop bay, the hanging mechanism...there are too many things to compliment. Excellent job.
Its extemely awesome model, this is the best model I have EVER seen my entire life. I love all the halo games. Could you please please send me instructions and pieces needed. Thank you. Again, great model and good job, especially the detail.
"Outstanding"!!!! I only had a couple of weeks to design my Pelican in LDD, (commission job) so seeing yours is pure awesome! I like everything about your design. So many details and great parts were used in this project. Kudos to you for sticking with it until it was done. Again, wonderful job, from the wings to the interior. WOW!!!!!
Absolutly outstanding i love the playability and the transportation hanging thing in the rear extremely accurate functionality wise. 5/5
the interior the exterior the middle terior AMAZING. could i get the build time. :)
This is excellently built. You did a great job & I like all the details you put in it. The gray/white scheme works pretty dang well. I also like the the landing gear & how the vehicle transportation system. This is defiantly one of the best Pelican I've seen...Also, your Warthog & Scorpion are cool too.
I don't really like HALO MOCs, but I have to respect that you actually did a good job on this... unlike the average HALO MOC (which I find just as boring as a custom clone), there's a clear skill with LEGOs demonstrated here. Good work, great details, and cool functions. There's a clear focus on LEGOs here, rather than the usual narrow focus on HALO.
yea i agree with the rest but i thinks its the best moc i ever seen.
i know how hard it is to build one. 5 months, i understands why it took you that long.
and the white coller does really the trick, insted of the usualy grey. fantastic job.
if it where green, it would look just like the real pelican
Ok honestly, when I saw the exterior front pictures, I didn't think much of it. But I'm glad I scrolled to reveal the inside and underside with all the detail and hard work you put into it. And even though someone spammed the comment section to get you recognition, you deserve it. Congrats on a great MOC!
the pelicon looks great and the white bricks look even better than the greys, maybe it could be used for a sort of camo mission. The photoes are great and the vehicle has so much detail in the exterior and interior. lets just hope bungi buys this idea of you. Also sorry about that guy that spammed you, komodo killer.
No affence but he is probibly the reason you got up on the explore board so quick, but trust me if he didn't spam you would be up on the board in about 3 days becouse the creation is just that awsome. 2500000/1
This is by far the best moc ever made. better than 50 lego zanzibars.
the top of the roof is a tad flat and i personally think you shold make it a few studs thicker.also I LOVE THE WINTER CAMO! really its good!wait more than good almost perfect. K0MoD0K1lLER
that is by far the most awesome pelican i have ever seen, i love the fact that you spared no detail in creating this. i used to think that spending 2 or 3 day on my creations was alot, but five months wow! i wish i had that kind of time. i would love for you to check out my creations. awesome job - Drew
@Luke Mageira-Dude,stop Trollin'. You know this is the best and by far most detailed pelican out there. It's also better than anything you could ever build.
So, BHESTEST PELICUNZ EVAR! But five months? You are dedicated. Keep up the awesome work!
Wow, thats incredible. I would ignore any factual inaccuracies that people could critisize you for because of the mere 5 month span - how anybody could have motivation to work on one thing that long without puking beats me.
Awesome awesome job. I'm sure we'll be seeing this one in stores soon; have you estimated an RRP for it? XD
Mad props to you man, takes crazy crazy skill to make something like that.
This confirms my suspicion - that you're the best Lego Halo builder there is. In fact, your Grizzly tank inspired me so much that I attempted to make my own Siege Tank...still my proudest MOC to date.

I love it, if only for the snow camo, but there are a bunch of things you got wrong. First, the pelican is designed for VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing), so it would have landing gear. Second, only a pilot and copilot sit in the cocpit (side by side I might add), however, other people stand in it occasionally. Third, it doesn't hang vehicles by cables; instead the turret of the vehicle melds into the pelican. Minus those few details, it's pretty much perfect.

O_O the best pelican ive ever seen....you could replace swome of the white with black to make the police pelican from odst
do u have a lego digital design file for it? or can u make one? i would love to be able to make this and if i have that i can order one from lego even if i dont have all the parts.
or your Ghost In The Shell HAW-206.
As far as overall shape and design goes...this is definitely one of the best pelicans I've seen. However, I would have liked to see another color than white, but I understand the limited colors and parts if thats your situation. Maybe snow camo? Anyway, nice overall design! -Dylan
wow, this is so EPIC that i am going to give you a 5 even though you used megablocks! i really love halo, and this thing is so accurate and detailed and the vehicle hanging stuff is awesome and every single thing is so epic! (except the megablocks, but the epicness of everything else outweighs that!) this is probably the greatest halo moc i have ever seen, congrats, this is awesome.
There is one word to describe this... brutal. This thing is just amazing, and the fact that there is all this playability (landing gears, capability to carry vehicles, etc) just makes it better. I bet many have asked you to make instructions. If you did, it would only add to the legend, trust me.
wow.Ever since I got my ldd pacage i have been trying to create the best pelican i could, this tops even the best I could do. may I possibly use parts of this to kick off my pelican V8? it is simply amazing.
