the Eliminator
Texas enters the war.
About this creation
Reinforcements never had so much panache. The yanks weren't officially in it when the first "volunteers" began showing up. We thought we'd be getting a scared little nursery school that we would have to shave, supply and change their diapers after they saw the elephant. We vastly underestimated that little ole band from Texas. Their first 'mission' was secret and self-generated. Billy, Dusty and Frank flew off in the morning and when darkness fell that day, we assumed we had seen the last of the flashy Americans. Until the Eliminator, their ridiculous flying boat, came lolling into the lake, laden down with booze, instruments and girls! Girls! Girls! The yanks, a term i have come to realize, reinforced with a blackened eye, that Texans take some offense to, had proven their worth. Billy had picked up something else in his travels. Behind his jumpseat was a .577 Nitro Express. "Just in case," he smiled his rattlesnake smile, "the elephant is flying tomorrow." i suspect he winked at me too, though it's hard to say for sure through the sunglasses.

The rough boys, heading into town to find some tush.

They're bad, they're nationwide.

She was getting bombed and i was getting blown away.

After a tough day of fighting the huns, in an open cockpit, the boys are looking for their hairdresser.

Looks great, like a "monster truck of the skies". The front really reminds me a little of a truck. But I've never seen an aircraft like this before (of course I know doubledeckers, but this design looks quite original to me)

Quoting Christopher B Excellent build! The seaplane by itself is fantastic, but as usual you backed it up with some signature witty commentary. Love it!
