Fire Nation Tank
A Fire Nation Tank and diorama from the cartoon, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Enjoy!
About this creation

Overview of the diorama

Two earthbenders, backed up against a wall, defend against the tank.

Profile shot.

A closeup at the earthbenders. I wish I had some more sand green.

The Fire Nation's tool of destruction. These things didn't even show up in the movie, which was very disappointing.

The opening, where a firebender can attack while sitting safely behind a wall of iron.

Here's an overview of the tank. Unfortunately, I don't have treads big enough to fit over these wheels.

The tank's wheels and cockpit are rotate-able like in the cartoon, so if the tank is flipped, it can keep moving.

Hatch.

The cockpit can fit two firebenders. One drives, the other shoots.

And here's my crappy, created-as-an-afterthought, Fire Nation soldier and engineer.

I'm pretty sure this is the first Fire Nation Tank on MOCpages, but I hope somebody will build another one of these soon so I can get some ideas. Thanks for viewing, let me know what you think!

the movie was so TERRIBLE! Zuko had almost no scar, Sokka's name was really weird sounding, the tanks weren't in the movie, no Kioshi warriors, Azula was in It twice while she appears more times in season two, the firelord looked nothing like Ozai, the graphics were cheap, the blue spirit was just weird, and the worst parts were the scenes that had Zhou in them. Where were the awesome sideburns? It's just not Zhou without sideburns.

Nice. Really? They didn't have those tanks in the movies?! DA*N!!! I'm glad I never watched the movie. People say that the movie SUCKS compared to the show. I watched the show 99.99%(the .01% is the fact that if you do the slow motion thing while watching the part where cabbage flies through the air when the guys try to get on a cruise to Ba Sing Se.). PS: Actually it takes TWO to drive the tank.

You did a great job on this! The wheels were definitely a good choice, very smart. I'm surprised anyone can fit in it! That takes some skill! I tried making one of these once, it didn't work out.

Quoting Hank Hansen did you think the movies was a huge fail too?
Compared to the show it was, but I hear it's not too bad if you haven't seen much of the cartoon series. Unfortunately for me, I saw all three seasons right before going to the movie. :P
