All of the LEGO minifigs on this page were actually made for a friend of
mine. I don't have much interest in the Resident Evil series myself, and I
know very little about it... I know it's called "Biohazard" in Japan,
which is a cooler name actually, and that the badguys of the series are a
company that makes umbrellas (spooky). But from all the e-mail I
constantly receive concerning all the mistakes I make below, I'm learning
more about RE all the time! Seriously though, most of the comments below
were meant to make this more entertaining than just random facts that you
probably already know about the game...

Okay, if I'm not mistaken, these are the two main characters of the first
game... Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. From his appearance, I assume
that Chris Redfield was your typical macho man. Probably military,
probably smokes, like Solid Snake. Jill Valentine is shown here
wearing, quite surprisingly, a lot of clothes, although not much armor
(apparently she keeps her key internal organs in her shoulders). Her
adequate clothing would, of course, be corrected in later games.

See? I'm not sure when the ever-popular tube top outfit made it's first
showing, but I think it was in the third game. Fanboys obsess over this
outfit. When I think of Resident Evil, I see the ever-present images of
this outfit in my mind. When your lead lady's shirt consists entirely of
what could very well serve as a single sleeve for most of the game's male
characters, you know the fanboys are gonna love it.

Naturally, this outfit warrants a back decal. From the images I was able
to gather (and let me tell you, it didn't take a lot of searching), I'm
assuming she did not wear any "gear" (the belts and pouches and such) in
the original game version. These were later added in re-makes, and in the
movie. I put them on because it's more realistic. I mean, you can't go
around fighting zombies in that outfit with no storage space for
ammunition... and various assorted keys and such.

Okay, let's see. This one is... Claire Redfield. Probably the sister of
the original Chris fellow. Not quite so many images of her out there. Try as I might, I was unable to
decipher exactly what that is on the back of her jacket. So I just traced
it. It came out looking like an angel, whose legs are positioned to form
the number 4, holding a pair of pants, with the words "Made in Haiwan"
written at the top. "Haiwan" must be an island positioned somewhere
between Taiwan and Hawaii.

NOTE: numerous fans have e-mailed me to tell me that the shirt actually
says "Made in Heaven" and depicts an angel holding a bomb... but
there are conflicting reports, so I'm still not sure.

Note: the blue cloth area on the decal was later darkened to match better,
but I couldn't be bothered to re-print, re-apply, and re-photograph. So
meh. Unlike his fellow RPD (Real Police Dude), Leon Kennedy actually wears
clothing on his entire body and body armor on his chest (again, this would
be rectified in later versions).

See? His hair color also seems considerably lighter in Resident Evil 4,
hence the change in wig. By the way, I heard that Kennedy dies by crashing
his airplane while flying through hazy weather with his wife. Can't
remember where I heard it though.

Leon Kennedy in RE2 has that

long-blond-haired-guy-with-no-facial-hair look just like Raiden in
MGS. The Japanese seem to really like it. Personally, I hate it. Long
blond hair + no beard to back it up = girl, especially if your features
are already feminine (Leon doesn't have that problem quite as bad as
Raiden though). Anyway, here's Kennedy again trying to keep his hair out of his eyes
while wearing his macho zombie hunting gear. Having hair like that really
isn't that great for combat situations. Ever seen Indiana Jones and the
Last Crusade? See how much trouble young Indy had?

Don't know much about this guy. Apparently his name's Luis Sera. Judging
by his cowboy outfit, I just HAD to give him a revolver. He's not quite
Clint Eastwood though... in the picture I saw he
just looked like a somewhat homosexual country music singer. I picked the
most appropriate head I could find.

Wow. And you thought the blue tube top was a silly outfit to wear while
fighting zombies. This girl (Ada Wong) wears a long red dress with one leg
showing. Whoo-wee! Too bad flashing a little leg won't help much against a walking corpse whose only
intimate desire is to eat her brain.

Don't know much about this guy either. Name's Jack Krauser or something.
He looks like he's a read badass though. He's got a knife, poofy military
clothes, big muscles, lots of gear and grenades, a red beret, and a long
scar on his face. He's probably a Russian (or German, judging by his name)
commando ala Ocelot in MGS3 except actually masculine. Perhaps he's the
brother of that Bayman guy in the Dead or Alive series. Just guessing
though. By the way, I made leg decals for him, but I forgot to apply them
before taking the picture. D'oh!
