So they're finally here, my Iron man 2 vignettes, the hint to these MOCs was "heavy metal" hence "Iron"man. I did split the presentation into two parts, the second will be coming...I don't know when...I haven't started the rest.
About this creation
Well, I finally finished the first three. I was planning on having all six in one page, but I couldn't come up with ideas for the last three, so, not to keep myself, and you guys waiting, I just split it into two parts.
The three vignettes. Left to right: Pepper Potts' vignette, Scarlett-whatshername's vignette, and Ivan-whathisname's vignette.
Lets start off with Pepper's. I had a LOT of trouble finding a fitting face for her, and even now I don't completely agree with it.
The full thing.
Pepper's vignette was the most aggravating out of all of them. I could barely find a way to make the square windows look nice, so I ended up stacking these on top of each other, so it's extremely weak, with no connection, and I wish I had found a different way.
Ah yes, after seeing the movie, I really wanted one of these. This didn't turn out perfect, but for such a small structure, I think I did ok.
Behind her desk, I didn't want here in plain pants, because she didn't wear pants too much, so I tried skirt designs. I finally came up with one, using one of the really old Lego "legs" and sticking a torso on it. Then I realized I had to have her sitting down, so I attached two black cheese slopes, and it worked out great!
Here's a better view of what I did.
Onto Scarlett's vig. This was the simplest and quickest done, although it used up the majority of my white 1x2 tiles.
A back shot, she's about the wrangle the poor guy..
Looks like he's hurt, I always thought this face was funny, it looks as if the guy is constantly in a considerable amount of displeasure.
And saving my favorite for last. I am almost completely happy with this, the SNOT track turned out great, and I found a working design for the chicken wire at the edge.
And the track without Ivan.
The three characters.
And Ivan with his whips.
This is my "Ivan", I wish that I could have found a fitting hairpiece that was black/gray, that would have worked out much better, but I'm still proud of him.
Whther you have or haven't seen Iron Man two, I hope you enjoyed.
