for the "I love you" contest. I figured I'd enter these two, and I may have another entry. Haven't decided yet.
About this creation
Xinlo (Zin-loh) is a veteran Toa who's seen many battles; though he's not yet old. He's still considered a young Toa, he's just fought too many fights. He's always had a secret crush on Kara, though he didn't know it at first. he described it as a "strange tingly feeling when I look at her". While being experienced, he somehow manages to mess something up. Or everything, depending on the situation. He wears the Kanohi Kakama, Great mask of Speed, and his element is Sonics. In the final battle for the Great Barren against the Head of the Spear, he tried to tell Kara how he felt, but she silenced him saying, "I'll see you again. Tell me after." The next time he saw her she was dead from a wound to the stomach.
Kara (Kay-rah) is almost as experienced as Xinlo, having fought alongside him most of her time being a Toa. They were both transformed at the same time. She was previously his secretary when they were Matoran. Xinlo was her best friend, and over the years her feeings evolved to the next level. Unfortunately, she was killed by Venom before she had decided to tell Xinlo how she felt. Before she died in Toa Iro's arms, she wispered, "Maybe I should've let Xinlo finish that sentence...".
