About this creation
A serene locale down South, it was the perfect rest stop until the water level dropped; now it's even better.

Inspired in part by Legohaulic's Mud Island Lighthouse, Nadroj's affinity for Dixie, and oddly enough the remake of The Hills Have Eyes*, but that's a longer story.

*which rocks.

Great concept Alex and an excellent build. I really like the landscaping details and the design of the 'shack' really conveys that old and somewhat rusty look. I can't help but think this is a preview of our coastlines somewhere in the future...and that scares me. Just replace the Octan logo with BP. ;-)

Wow... pretty, nay, very cool. I think the very base would've been better in light grey or bley though; as it is the lower "story" of the island is like a black hole that sucks in the eye but then hides its own details... still, I like this. Very cool techniques, sweet styling, great build.

its amazing how you got the building and the land on top to be supported by those small sticks and the cool rock shaped formation underneath it.

I'd imagine this property value being pretty low - perched precariously up on stilts like that! Great little scene, and that fridge has a neat retro feel to it.

Nice work on the building, and all of the junk laying about...makes me want to visit family.

Fabulous. And amazing. I could list hundreds of other words that could describe this MOC. I'll just say this is a work of art, tremendous build.
