About this creation
This is the shade turret, the one from the first halo of course, I deicded to make it because there are only like, two other ones and the only good one is Scorp's, and because evn tough it sucks in the game, it has an interesting design.

Yeah it's red, even if it is from the first halo, i always tought it was on the more red side of purple.

the gun is red with grey because the lighter parts of the shade that looked gray also looked like a lighter shade ( not the turret) of it's color, like light purple, so I just used red and grey to my convenience, for example, i did not have those curved pieces at the tip of the gun in grey, and i did not have the thing where the beam comes out in red.

yeah, a bionicle piece (the ball thing)can make it roate in every direction, instead of having to add blocky hinges.

Notice the small lever things at the bottom, in the game they didn't stick out, but has details where the beam comes out like that, and the lever holder piece looked like them.

it does not have trans blue all over because it would cover the details, but it does have one where the gun was placed.

From this perpective it looks like it could make a good walker, since it looks like it's gonna stomp you. that's why if ind the design interesting, and much cooler than the one in H2

I used a lego visor in an uncommon way not in minifigs, OMG!

Gratz on MOTD. I remember this as 'one of the most powerful weapons' on the 'ol halo CE, but bungie made it slower in halo 2, and it was too slow in halo 3. You replicated this one perfectly. Awesome! |
