This is my first Life-Size project. It practically nuked my entire collection of light stone gray bricks. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what model this looked most like, as I just threw this together without a reference picture.
About this creation

The trigger and the trigger guard. More on that later.

The handle. I thought it looked better with studs, as it looked more like a grip. I think the handle is my own design, if not someone please comment and say so.

The barrel. More on the crude attempt at smoke and the sight later.

Inside the barrel. You can see how the trigger works and is attached to the rest of the pistol from here.

Why is only the very front of the gun tiled? I'll tell you why in a different creation.

The thingy pulled back. I wish I could make it slide back on its own, but that would involve connecting the trigger to it and all that other stuff and nonsense...

It snaps back automatically. How? Ask the last picture.

The smoke. I added this as a last-minute detail, so I didn't bother adding very many white plates. It should look better if I had spent time on this part, though.

The sight. I, personally, was startled by it's realisticness.

This is the "Ultimate Collector's Series Display Card". I was going to glue black paper over the sticker and write some stuff about the creation, but decided to wait until someone told me what kind of pistol this looks like.

The stand. Hey, look! The AT-OT's foot. That's where it went...XD

The trigger moves! Here it is when someone just "fired" the pistol.

Back to normal...

Here's the awesome part. You push the part of the pin that protrudes on the other side of the handle, forcing the pin out. I launched it 6 feet once...

And now the clip comes out!

Here's where it came from.

Want a peek inside?

And now I'm reloading the gun.

Tada!

A scale shot of me holding it.
Notes: The "different creation" is a life-size pistol with a working firing mechanism, which I will be uploading this week. I won't do a lot of this stuff, as I have a small collection of bricks and enjoy using the bricks to make other things, such as LEGO Castle towers, keeps, etc. Right now, I have a keep with a waterfall and tons of other features ready to be uploaded. I will upload that this week, too.

Wow, very cool design. Put in a mechanism for firing and then its perfect!5/5 |

It doesn't closely resemble any real pistol, although the bulge on the top rear of the slide makes the whole gun remind me of the pistol from Halo 1, although that wasn't really based on any real world design. |

It looks great, that smoke is a nice finishing touch ;). Would you like to join the biggest LEGO gun group on MOCpages? http://mocpages.com/group.php/146
