I didn't take any of my own photos - so photography credits are due. The main photo is by Phillip Thorne.
About this creation
This is a 96 stud wide mosaic built out of Technic bricks, technic 1/2 pins, and 1 x 1 round plates that I did for the background of DelVaLUG's exhibit at the 2006 NMRA train show in Philly.
This photo, by Arthur Stromberg, shows the mosaic at an angle. The idea was that the mosaic would display a mountain scene in the background that was visible between the brick-built mountains.
This photo (due to Cale Leiphart) gives a good view of the mountain as a whole (including the tunnels throught the mountain, built by Jim Foulds). Most of the cars and other scenery (including the chickens) were built by Philip Thorne - although the yellow and black car at the front left is mine (the over-use of chrome and silver pieces is a dead give-away!)
Another angled shot (also Cale's). This one also shows the back of the other mosaic (that one done with plates) that was situated on the opposite side of out set-up).
