General Grievous' Starfighter (Review) Set 8095
Awesome Set! This set cost 44.99 in Argos in the UK.
About this creation

Hey everyone! I guess this isn't really a MOC, but anyway, I got a few awesome LEGO Star Wars sets, so I have started to do a series of reviews. Enjoy!

Firstly, we'll start with the minifigures. To start with, General Grievous. He's really, cool, definitely an improvement on the last one. This Grievous is much more poseable: you can twirl his arms and have the lighsabers however you want. I think his head sticks out a bit too much, but apart from that, its one of the best minifigures LEGO have made.

Next, we have the jedi Nadhar Vebb. He's a completely new minifigure, apart from the head, which is basically the same as Admiral Ackbar's. His torso is new, and also has detail on the back, so yeah, he's pretty cool.

And to finish off the minifigures we have Grievous repair droid, A4-7(I think hes called). Really nice, has lots of detail with the tools on his back and other accessories. The minifigures in this set are really cool, however I think hey could've included other figures, like Kit Fisto and a couple of magnaguards, but nevertheless, some really good figures included in this set.

With this set, you also get a little diorama. It's supposed to e 'Grievous' Lair',but I think its a little small to be his whole lair.

It's still kinda cool though. You get a little place to put is weapons, lightsaber and blaster.

You also get like a control chair, which swivels, and you can just sit Grievous in there like in the episode.

So, that concludes the minifigures and the diorama, now on to the actual starfighter!

This set is amazing, much bigger than I thought. Here is blaster gun. Really cool, moves up and down.

Here, on both sides, you have a conpartment that folds open, revealing to flick fire missiles that fire quite far.

The cockpit, with slides to open an close. Definitely a nice detail.

You can put Grievous in the cockpit, like so.

Rear view. Really good, you got the rudder like thing which moves up and down, plus some nice detail on the boosters.

The extra boosters on the side, another good detail.

You also have a missile here, but its not flick fire or anything, so that's a slight disappointment.

Overall, an awesome set, with a couple of minor bad things. I am going to rate this set 9.5 out of 10. Absolutely amazing set, makes an excellent addition to any LEGO Collection.

Yeah, I agree with Matt vd about Grievous, but good review. I'd rate the set 8/10.

It is a good set. I like the new ship a lot. I will try to buy it when it comes out. But I have one problem. I don't really like Grievous. He is to animated like. It looks to much like a mini action figure than a lego minifigure. They are tacking the old style minifigure's and making new ones that look more real and less lego like. And I don't really like it. So I don't really like Grievus because they did this to him. I give the set a 10, but it lost 4 because of Grievus. so overall it is 6/10.
