this is my lego version of a limo!
i found the original to be too narrow!
so i fixed it!
About this creation
i had thought of 5 stud wide cars for a long time, parrington levens did one for a normal car but,i thought it would be interesting on a limo!
i d like to thank him for the inspiration! for thanks to him,i knew a little of what
it could look like in advance!
i named this after Will Aston has mentioned i had no name for it!
so i made up the mobile factory, maker of all cars in cybercity!
and creators of the phantom exelsior!
i ll find something else for trucks!
i did nt photograph the helico since i did nt customized it at all!
manoxylo and me;porter flying refined!,cling!,
[an inside joke between us based on a radio add]
the phantom s silouette
i d like to find a way to make the trunk open-close with an hinge of some kind but,
i don t want to hurt the lines or looks! same thing for the doors!
my girlfriend bought me this so i decided to improve upon it!
i m going to use it to transport the hotel guests!
look! plenty of room for luggages!
it looks a little like a rolls!
notice that i improved the commercial buildings details.
Hello Frank, the solution for doors is Search Function his door design on his 6w, 3 seater hatchback. I already rebuild my 6-5-4 wide coupe and it still has smouth lines have to order pieces in the right colour after that I will post it.
hope your still in for improving this great limo, know your verry busy with your great money man series
Really liking the limo! And to answer your question about my station, it is totally different than the pictures i have up on it. Maybe one day this week I can get out to the shack and take some pics of it although it is still nowhere near completion.
Et celui-ci j'adore aussi :)
On voit bien la ressemblance Rolls Royce; et franchement pour une aussi petite échelle, tu as fait du super travail, c'est très bien détaillé tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur - bravo :)
Just wanted to say thank you for such a great comment on my Invisible Hand page, very nice of you. I've got you faved now, and I'll look forward to seeing new creations from you as they come about. Cheers!
This is awesome, I'm a big fan of the 5-wide scale on cars, I've made a limo too once but it was by far as elegant as this one, I love the trunk with the suitcases in it, the rolls royce-like front is very nice, great job ... hmmm, those shops in the decor look promosing
Nice job on the limo.....You asked my opinion on the RC-set (actually it's infrared) Well, it's not expensive, too bad it don't work great, but it works good enough for me. And it's an easy way to make Lego remote-controlled so for me it's ok. The biggest problem is you can't cover the infrared receiver too much or it won't work. That's why in the A-Team van I made holes in the roof and the back ;-) Greetings, Fred
This is really very good mate! I'm glad you brought me to see this, yeh 5 wide cabils are great for squeezing side by side mini-figs, was it my 20' Roadster you saw? Anyway, this is extremely well done, love that flaring down the side, and the front and rear ends are beaytifully designed. Sweet ride, hammers the original set...
