Harry Potter Bookends

It started as simple bookends but just grew and grew.
About this creation

Harry, Fawkes and the Hungarian Horntail.

Neville, Ginny, Ron and Hermione.

Hagrid and Professor McGonigall.

Sirius and Lupin in the kitchen at Grimmauld Place. This room lights up. That plate shouldn't be there. I am so sad. Good lesson to pay attention.

Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape

The tower walls open to reveal many magical creatures.

Dobby and all his favorite hats.

Griphook and the fake Sword of Gryffindor. He's standing in a Gringott's vault. It lights up inside when you press down on Fawkes up on the roof.

Neville and his favorite plants. That's Gillyweed he's got there.

The Weasley Twins up to no good. Map, humpback witch statue, mischief managed.

Gryffindor Knights.

Dementors.

Death Eaters.

Voldemort, Lucius Malfor and a Death Eater at Malfoy Manor.

Wormtail lurking in the corner and an other Death Eater.

Draco Malfoy with his Crabbe and Goyle in the Slytherin Common Room. It carved from stone, decorated with skulls, and located under the lake.

What have you been letting out of The Chamber Of Secrets Tom Riddle?

Delorus Umbridge. Worst Teacher Ever!

Closer shot Voldemort and his Death Eaters in Malfoy Manor. I hate it when evil super powers move into my house.

Quoting Katie Rose Please tell me ALL the sets or minifigures that you used to build this. I am very interested in Lego, just like you. But mainly, I'm Obsessed with Harry Potter! So PLEASE tell me ALL the sets/minifigures you used to build this! And if possible, can you build another one and show a tutorial on youtube on how to make it? I know it's expensive, just me dreaming on! Please, maybe one day, they will actually get sold like that. Oh-Please-Oh-Please tell me all the sets/minifigures you used! Thankyou so so so much!
Thanks for the comment Katie. There aren't any sets in there and you can look up the minifigs on Bricklink. You can look at the pictures and get enough clues on how to build your own because there won't be a video on YouTube, unless you make your own. It wouldn't be that expensive. Maybe $5-600, of which half could be the figures. Keep dreaming, maybe there will be more HP set from LEGO but I seriously doubt it. garth

There are no words to describe a MOC like this. They would all be understatements. My favorite part is Dobby with his hats and the sock. I'd forgotten all about this from the books- Hermione and spew"It's not spew, it's S.P.E.W"!LOL

This is very well done. The idea of this can inspire and I just love this idea having a well detailed model and then having your harry potter series as a book holder. These ideas and creations are so much fun to look at because they give me ideas for building and this great set gets a nice 6/5. (If the rating could go higher.)

This is absolutely brilliant, Garth!!! I love the concept and the execution is spot-on. You managed to capture many of the iconic moments from the books. I love all of the little details, especially the bookcases. The tower opening to reveal more is also a nice touch. Really well done and I think Stacy and I might have to take a crack at this sometime.

Gorgeous, Garth, simply gorgeous. The interior of the Malfoy mansion is stunning. Love the details, the lighting functions, and the qreat scenes from the books. Not to mention that the models actually serve a purpose. Some Quidditch action might be nice, but tough to do here. Oh well, can't have everything. At least you left out the Dursleys.

Wow, that's a really smart idea. Not only the idea, the build is fantastic as well! So many details. A story within a story.... :)

Very nice, I got all the books except the first, the light up function when you press down on Fawkes is just Brilliant, great job on the different scenes, I recognize them all, the only thing it might be missing would be a small section of the dark forest, great job !

Garth, this is hands down my favorite MOC right now. I've seen all of your other Harry Potter stuff, but this one is the bset by far. So much detail in all of the rooms. I can't think of a better way to show off a collection of Harry Potter books than this. I could go on and on, but I'll quit now. Regards, Eric.
