This is part one of my new series called the Adventures of Siggy and James! Enjoy!
About this creation
After a long seven hour flight it was nice to have my feet on the ground. The fact that my feet were on the ground of Cairo Egypt made it all the more satisfying. We had a lot to cary, two suit cases each, one full of clothes, the other full of lego. Well duh, who could stand a week without Lego!!???
When James and I got out of the busy airport we where handed two bottles of water and a map. This was about when I was expecting a cab, but this man tolled me (using the worst form of English I'd ever herd) that a bit of walking was involved.
Ok, it was really bad English, we had walked for about two hours when James Yelled,"LOOK! ITS A...a...a HOUSE!!". Shore enough it WAS a house, at lest, it had bin once. It was definitely shady, so James and I sat down and drank our last water bottles.
After that things turned around, and we found an abandoned jeep on the side of the road. It was still running so took the chance that someone was around, and borrowed it.
When we got to Cairo we were given some funny looks. (it was probably the trashed jeep)
Once we where settled into our hotel rooms, we went to look around at the market. And what a shopping trip that was!
And so ends part 1 of the Adventures of Siggy and James! Part 2 coming soon!
