The Provost was only the third Mecha I ever built (fourth if you count the M-Tron Spider) and was built for the Iron Mecha competition run on Legnet.

Surprisingly it won. YAY! I am Iron Mecha champion!

I'm still not sure how, there were a lot of entries I rated as far better then mine, but somehow I came out on top.

Built:2006
Current Status: Intact.

The Provost alongside the original art work we all had to use as inspiration for our competition enteries.

Four legs good, two legs bad!

Well I won months ago now so I can reveal the fatal flaw... those darn legs splay all the time if it's not on a carpet!

In fact it has become so bad that I put an extra brick in the knee joints to lock them in place when I display it at public events.

Still it looks very pretty doesn't it?

And it's not every mecha that can wave at his friends.

Lance or gun? Both I say!

The thumb is by far the worst part, but this design allowed it to tuck under the fingers and look more like the inspiration picture.

The back pack was a last minute addition, before this I was trying to get some fold out wings to work, but it looked silly on a four legged mecha, maybe I'll use them in future.

   From the side.

   I surrender!

The rear - why is it the rear on so many mecha look much more mechanical and intricate then the front?

   The legs alone!

The weak knees! So I put a 2x1 brick in there and they lock!

   Fist launcher!

The green was kind of an accidental decision, I only had those pieces in white, yellow and trans-green, following it up with highlights elsewhere just seemed to work.

Looks like something from the XBOX game Chromehounds. Maybe that's just because it's a quadroped though. Nice MOC anyway.

i saw this MOC a couple of days ago and it inspired me to make someting like it, soon i will post it on my page, along with everythin else i made since i have nothin on my page, the only thing that is very very different from yours is that mine has a different color scheme and it has a larger array of weapons, though some of the weapons r EXO-FORCE weapons that ive modified to be held by hands, instead of just attachin them to the arm, and also, mine has a "modular-system," meanin that my mech is compatible with specific weapons, so im givin credit to u rite now for the inspiration, thanx
