Samson and the Gates of Gaza
This is one bit of history worth telling. Samson is trapped in the city of Gaza, so he charges up to the gate, rips it off it's hinges, and escapes! Okay, so that's not completely accurate, but you get the point.
About this creation

"And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him."-Judges 16:2 KJV

"And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts,..."-Judges 16:3 KJV

"...and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron."-Judges 16:3 KJV

Here's a story I invented.
Samson: Hey, can I leave?
Gatekeeper: Um, ah, no.

Samson: Please?
Gatekeeper: No.

Gatekeeper: I'm under orders from the Philistines to trap you here so they can beat you up. Oops! No, wait! That's not what I was supposed to say! Oh, no!

Samson: Yes, thank you for the information.
Gatekeeper: Uh, oh...

Gatekeeper: OH, MY GOSH!!!!! HOLY DAGON!!!!!
