Ha, yes, I chose the black cat because the white cat is well known to my regular viewers and indeed myself as my own cat Toby. Hilarious! I love the hair choice. You could've replaced the black cat with a white one though...it's generally known between the common working class that black cats are just plain EVIL. What's that smooth,white,flat, piece with a butterfly imprinted on it? It'd be useful. I like the choice of face for the mother,it's perfect!I also like the pipe on the outside and the microwave. Keep on brickin'!

Thank you! What a great comment :) I must admit I really like the colour-scheme of this build, I was going for a muted 70s style with the tan, dark tan and brown and the big shag rug under the couch. And that microwave is based on my own which I believe was made sometime in the middle ages... That new dark tan is my favourite colour at the moment... I can't get enough of it!

this is the 1rst creation that i ve seen from you! if you re not an interior designer, maybe you should consider it! because this looks great! those are the things that strikes me most! the trans blue columns,the fireplace,and of course the microwave! i will most likely use it for my fire station s kitchen! overall,a very good job! i also laughed about the mother s hair!

Hmm, thought I commented on this. Anyway, there's some serious awesome going on with this MOC. Mostly I love how you bothered to build a really nice exterior even though it wasn't completely necessary, great effort! I thought we'd hang out at the top with our 27s longer, I hadn't counted on the judges giving away perfect scores to just anybody! :D (nah, those guys deserved it)

Flashlight for light is for the win! (I use it too) I even saw an episode of Mythbusters where they WE'RE going to do a dog in a microwave, but due to the "people", it was scrapped. Then they tried to make a super microwave, but it ended up being a refridgerator instead! (somehow, it was producing cold instead of heat)

Wow... When I saw the first pic, I thought it was going to be a cmoic-style story but no, just a MOC with a small explanation! Amazing way to make the chimney and microwave, and I love the lighting at the end!

Well done! The lighting turned out nice, the whole thing is a laugh, and it's very well built. The cutaway shot showing the interior/exterior was cinematic and a nice display of skill. No, I made a one plate gap in the base of the fireplace and placed a flashlight behind the wall to light up the trans orange bricks. Worked really well!

I don't really think microwaves can dry things... But anyway, great build, and using SNOT to your advantage really helped.

LMAO excellent idea and great building techniques as usual. It will be interesting to see if anyone can knock you off your throne during the games....and how your rabid fans will react. Very nice, I love the use of those transparant blue pilars at the entrance, I once heared a story of a dog put in a microwave, the owner had a regular oven before and used it to dry the dog but she didn't know a microwave was different... anyway, good job with the lighting fireplace
