Squad Weapons Platform
A common Sar squad hover transport.
About this creation
The SWP is one of the most common transports in service, accounting for more than half of the vehicles in the Sar military. It is the most commonly assigned vehicle to squads because of its versatility in precise strategies and the relations it creates between the squad's members.

On Sar, soldiers are split into 8-9 person squads that consist of two commandos, two pilots, two demolitions, two snipers, and an optional F. cyborg or phantom. This diversity gives each squad versatility in any given situation, though some squads may wish to trade members for special missions (i.e. four snipers on a scouting mission).

19 ft. long by 20 ft. wide by 19 ft. tall. Cruises at 108 knots at 180 ft. high in fair weather with one driver and no cargo.

Holds one driver and up to 11 passengers. Not crash-resistent.

The rear hover pads help with forward propulsion.

This particular model is equipped with a left-side auto-turret, capable of targeting the distinct Sar IV soldier's energy signature.

Both sides are modular, allowing all manner of acessories to be attached; from this communications array to a grenade launcher to a searchlight.

The engine flaps were designed to help divert propulsion to the ground, though many soldiers find that it makes a great auxiliary seat when transporting cargo. There's a step to use to climb up on to the flap and a rail to hang onto while moving.

All six engines are self contained, air- and liquid-cooled machines designed to emit a strong enough propulsion to move the craft.

Because all Sar pilots recieve replacment legs when getting their cyborg upgrades, they can stand virtually all day. Seats are available - for the weak.

The four outer engines would fold the chassis if these pads weren't present.

This is cool. I can see the amount of detail and thought you have put into this. I also like how you have your own thought-up universe.

very cute platform!!! it could be longer or contain a removable extension carrying more men just like a barge... very good anyway oh btw you could imagine a way to fit several of these platforms to a bigger ship...that would be great!
