COME AND GET THEM!!! love this film! and really like this tidy little MOC here!! and to the people who have noted that there isnt 300 spartans here, no there isnt but like the film said, in the narrow straights of the black gates, the persians numbers will count for nothing!!

WOW!!! Just..WOW!!! We're learning about Greece in school right now, and this is perfect!!! Wonderful landscaping, and the trees are great. Could you please comment on my greek spartan if you had the time? I would really appreciate it, thanks!

Are you in Europe, is that how you are able to get all those Series 2 gladiator/spartan minifigs? Or did you just order a bunch off BrickLink or something? None of the stores here have the Series 1 much less Series 2 minifigs :(
Thank you, yes I'm from Europe, but in Austria, where I'm living, is the series 2 also not relesead yet. I ordered all spartans from eBay and from Bricklink. I think the will release in the next few days, but I'm not sure.

The Spartans are pretty cool, but to me what's truly amazing about this is the landscape. The water is pretty well done, and the rocks and trees look neat too. Great build.

Well, being Greek myself, I can only say thankyou for making my day with this one. I have been to Thermopylae (The Hot GAtes), and seen the statue of Leonidids and everything. The sea is much farther away these days, but it was indeed much closer as your Moc depicts back then.
