The Gronckle
Here is the Gronckle and Fishlegs from the Dreamworks film "How to Train your Dragon" The film is also from the "loosely-based" book adaptation.
About this creation
My 3rd dragon for my HTTYD is the "Grumpy" Gronckle.

It's slow, lazy, and cranky. But it's one of the toughest of the dragon world.
These dragons can hover around with their tiny wings similar to hummingbirds for their large rounded bodies.

Here is Fishlegs hunting for the Gronckle, but it's no where in sight!

Ambush! The Gronckle chews up rocks and spits them out in a devastating blast (similar to a cannon)

I don't think Fishlegs will survive this.

In the film Fishlegs was a bit more bulky like the other vikings, I've made a brick-built (hardsuit) version of him. Since he worked out well I'll do the same method when I will make Stoick and Gobber later on.
Too bad Lego doesn't make "fleshy" plate mods for Fishleg's arms.

A WIP shot of him around the time when I was making the Nadder.

Next is the Hideous Zippleback and the Monstrous Nightmare that is still a long ways off before completion.

Quoting zak singh You know, even though I read the book around 2 years back, I remember that Fishlegs was extremely skinney. Then when I saw the movie, he was fat. Also, the whole end battle in the movie isn't in the book AT ALL!
No need to get worked up about the film on here. The movie was still true to the spirit of the book, and Cressida Cowell approved of it. Besides I really liked the flying scenes with "rideable Toothless" which made the film spectacular, where as the book Toothless was a little too small to fly on. Everyone has a right to their own views.

Hahaha. I love the perfect way you've captured that cute chunky look of the Gronkle. Fishlegs looks good as do all your brick built Vikings. Really nice background you've put them in too.
