Stalingrad: A Shattered City
“Sergeant, sir, I can hear them!” It is mid-August, 1942, and Germany’s great Panzers grind to a halt in Stalingrad. Russian soldiers and partisans cling to every last shrapnel scarred, ruble strewn street corner with an inhuman tenacity. “Steady, steady.” Somewhere, deep in the heart of the city, a German platoon attempts to capture a Russian small-arms factory. Unbeknownst to the Germans, the bomb-scarred factory is long abandoned, and the Russians wait in ambush for the fascists. “Now! Open fire!”
About this creation

"Move, move, into the square! Flank that machine gun!"
German infantry stream out from either side of the Stug.

"Target, left side!"
A Soviet MG crew in the upper stories of a building rip into the advancing Nazis.

"Eat shrapnel you Communist pig!"

"No worries comrade, I got him!"

"Heinz, no! Godd*** you, you Russian bas****!"

"Forward, lets go! Into this build-" *click*

BOOM!

The Stug slowly lumbers over a pile of ruble.
"Put a round into that house!"

But the Russians have prepared for this, an officer with a Malitov hides upstairs.

"Diiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!"

"The Lord is my sheppard, the Lord is my sheppard..."
Poor kid, armed with only a magazine of pistol amo, his instructions are to take the gun when his brother falls and continue the fight.

Some other random dramatic shots...

Close up of the rounds from the MG...

Poor guy... he is SO screwed.

And now without the figs...

Looks spooky. Oh yeah, and the black pipes with blue rods in the center of the square? Its a shell crater that hit the water main.

The weapons factory, parts on the assembly table, sheet metal press in the backgound.

Ruined two story house.

Destroyed when an unexploded shell crased throught the ceiling. NO! THEY SPILLED THE WINE!!!

The MG nest.

The Russian HQ, kinda...

This, is awesome! I really like the russian MG nest! Isn't that my idea for sandbags or is it just cowincedence? Your Russian HQ is very nice too! The part with the Russian soldier with just a magazine is from one of the many CoDs isn't it? Oh, and try putting Indiana Jones pants of a green russian soldier body. It's looks really accurate in my opinion. Overall the entire MOC is great and I hope to see more great MOCs from you!
