Custom Harry Potter stuff pt. 1
Custom Harry Potter stuff. Part one. Please rate and comment! I worked hard on these.
About this creation

Molly and Arthur Weasley. I used Aunt May's head with the torso and hair of Mary Jane Watson (both from Spider-Man sets).

Ginny Weasley and Olympe Maxime. For Ginny I used Mary Jane's head, but I forgot where I got the hair. For Madame Maxime I used an old Hagrid body (which I have at least three of), Hermione's head, and Doctor Octopus' hair. The white thing (not sure what it's called) I made from bakeable clay.

Tom Riddle and Argus Filch. The torso of Tom was actually a Gryffindor robe torso, but I used a Sharpie to give it Slytherin colors. For his head I used a Russian soldier's from an Indiana Jones set. I know that there's going to be an actual Filch minifig in one of those new sets, but I had to make him anyway. Every part of him except his arms and lantern are from a Prince of Persia set (the lantern being from an Indiana Jones set).

Cedric Diggory and Cho Chang. I'm really proud of how Cedric came out. This is his Final Task outfit. I made it using a solid black torso and gluing yellow pieces of paper on, as well as a tiny Hogwarts crest. There's no "Diggory" on the back, however. I also like how Cho came out. Her head is Princess Tamina's from a Prince of Persia set, and her hair is Marion Ravenwood's. Credit for the Ravenclaw torso decal goes to alex potter.

Thanks so much, I'll have to try that! I think I actually have the torso design saved somewhere from a failed attempt where I tried to decal with some labels. I'll probably print mine at FedEx.

Quoting Greyface ... That looks really really good! Hey I've never done decals before - how do you print/apply them and what with?
You can find the decals around MOCpages or the internet. What I do is I copy an image and then paste it onto Apple Pages (Word Document if you've got Windows) then I resize it and print it. It may take a few tries to get the size just right. I personally use Scotch double-sided tape to get the decals on minifigures.
