the Ma/Sh 778 "Flederfuchs"
The collaborative efforts of the two least known arms manufacturers on the Rhine. Mauserbob's Used Flugwerks and the Schmuddelighund Schmelterie's nightfighter.
About this creation
The two factories didn't set out to build a night fighter but all the proper parts were black so they shrugged and rolled with it.

Unfortunately neither company could afford to put the new radars onto the Flederfuchs so the manual counsels the pilots to "esst du viele Karrotten."

The Flederfuchs originated at the Schmuddelig Schmelterie and the original design left out a few superfluous systems.... like landing gear.

Fortunately Mauserbob's Used Flugwerks got a hold of it, as it was left in their scrapyard after being illegally parked; they immediately saw the flaws in the design and after a few variants came up with the model you see here. Which has fully retractable landing gear, an extra pair of cannons, front and rear, and did away with some truly superfluous canards and communications antennae.

Sweet design again, and the name fits great. I have some things to point out again though ;) 1st: I guess you wanted to put the phrase "Dirtydog" in german, but instead of "Schmuddelighund" you should better use "Schmutzhund" or "Schmuddelhund", which are grammatically correct (as far as a neologism can be). - 2nd: The manual should better read "Esst mehr Karotten" instead of the other sentence, for same reason. Don't feel "kicked in the head" about this, german is a hard language, and you're not the only one who made me smile in the last days ;) Keep up the good work!
