The Hobbit: Beorn the Skin - Changer
This is Beorn the Skin-Changer! He appears in Tolkien´s book ` The Hobbit`. He can transform himself into a big black bear. Nobody knows much about him. Beorn had a farm with sheep, horses and dogs. As a human he never ate meat, only honey from his own bees and as a giant bear he met other bears and rescued the dying Thorin. Although he was a little bit like a wizard, he was a human and not immortal: He was born at the end of the 29th century and died before 3018 of the third Age. His son was Grimbeorn, chief of the beorningans. If you want to know more about him, read the Hobbit.

I cannot see any picture. Is there any way you could try to repost it. I would love to see him. I have read the book 12 times and he is by far my favorite character. Thanks very much.

Quoting Prime time and crew none well done! I exspecialy like the visual composition added by studs at the bottom of Beorns feet. out of curiosity how much did the bear cost? and Are you still considering my idea to jointly post through the lotr books? =)--PT
Yes, that´s a good idea! What do think ? Should we create a new section of the group `Used the atlas of Middle Earth` for everyone else, who built excellent Lotr dioramas? And where should we begin? ( silmaril, The Hobbit or `The Fellowship of the Ring´ )?

The set LEGO arctic 6575 contains a polar bear, but you can `buy it now` for 5,99$ at ebay. ( I have given the bear black color)
