An unmanned combat machine inspired by The Bride in Tarantino's 'Kill Bill'.
About this creation
I recently received my first BrickLink order; around 350 items, a select few parts in a range of colours. Parts that will be used only for more micromecha based on izzo and squieu's advanced frame armature! Without Bricklink, these woulda cost me a fortune to collect in sets.
This creation is the first model to be built from these parts, using most of the yellow and black. I couldn't resist the reference to The Bride in 'Kill Bill' because of this colour scheme (and because I had a spare pair of blades. =)
If it is reminiscent of a wasp, you'd be right as that was the first thing I had in mind when I started building the frame in black and yellow, but I think the analogy works just as well for The Bride's Revenge Machine - an agile flying creature capable of a deadly sting!

The Revenge Machine has one master and one purpose.

With its single blood red eye, the Revenge Machine assess the threat, leaving it's dual katana blades in their sheaths.

Stabiliser foils on the back afford the Revenge Machine unsurpassed agility and the abilty to fly; handy for pulling off those gravity-defying wire stunts.

This very nearly became more of a wasp type mecha, but I dig the idea of mechanised bladed combat a bit too much and couldn't resist the yellow-black colour theme like The Bride's jumpsuit.

I might make another of these using mostly black, because this shot reminds me very much of Giger's alien... anyway, until next time, enjoy!

You have my complete respect. I was able to take Zizy's and Kashiwa's frames and simply make regular variations of it. But you, you've taken their designs and made made them something different entirely. Not only that, but you made and modified them in a very good way. Congrats, and I hope to see more from you in the future. |

What the guy under me said, me too. This thing is very cool. I love the wasp concept. The wings in the back remind me of Bumble Bee. Good job. |
