A 5-wide American style Muscle Car for the macho mini fig.
About this creation
This is an American Muscle Car loosely based on a Ford Mustang in 5-wide to suit a mini fig. It is not based on one particular model of the Mustang. The front end is inspired from an early 2000 model and the back end is inspired by the Mustangs from the seventies and the rest is improvised.
This model is intended to be Mustang-esque and serves well as a fully fledged mini fig muscle car.

how do you make a five wide?
A lot of patience. Making a model with an odd number width is, to me, a bit of a challenge but usually well worth the result. For 5 stud widths I use a combination of 2 and 3 stud width plates over lapping each other for strength. Sometimes you can only get away with 1 and 4 width but this does have it's limitations. You also need a lot of offset plates to transfer from 5 to 4 width. I use this a lot with the tops of vehicles as one piece windscreens only come in even number stud widths. There are still a lot of 5 wide vehicles on MOCpages that just baffle me how they achieved the end result. I'm still learning and experimenting but it's a lot of fun.
Nicely done, I love the 5-wide scale above any other, I think it looks a bit tall, but it sure has the stuburn look of the mustang, I have tried an old mustang in this scale a while ago, I went for a more fragile refined design but it doesn't fit minifigures, great job, I love how you did the headlights
