Shinorax V2
I changed his look, colors and weapons. Keywords: Ninja Visorak Rhotuka Spinner Sword Katana Toa
About this creation
A basic remake of Shinorax's old body .

------------
Story (taken from the first version's page):

In his past, Shinorax was an elementless Matoran named Sharaz. He was adopted by Toa Seihu when he washed up on the Ga-Metru shores after an accident on his homeland of Xia. He was taught the style of fighting known as Mata-Taekworu Zhex, translated as “The Honorable Mata Way” in a small school near Ga-Metru, with Master Toa Seihu on the island of Metru Nui. He used to be Toa Seihu’s star pupil along with his friend Yahru, a fellow Matoran who he had a small rivalry with. But, Sharaz didn’t fight clean. Sharaz was also scheming behind Toa Seihu’s back to steal a powerful artifact from the Great Temple in order to satisfy his thirst for power. Then the Toa, Seihu & Yahru caught him. This action got him expelled from the school of Mata-Taekworu Zhex.

Not so long later, he was left wandering the jungles of the transformed Le-Metru after the Visorak attack, and then the Visorak-Te (miniature Visorak) ambushed him. Through that ambush, they bonded with Sharaz. Sharaz then got each of the 6 Visorak‘s powers & skills, with new body parts such as the Rhotuka spinner on his left shoulder and detachable Visorak claws. He also had new weapons such as twin sabers with the front edge for slicing and the back edge for crushing. The Visorak-Te on his arms enable him to perform powerful punches. With the Visorak-Te on his legs, they can power up his legs, so he can also perform a powerful kick or a series of kicks.

His power and skills impressed Draku (rival of Seihu and Combat Consultant of the Brotherhood) so much that Shraraz got accepted into Draku’s school of Makuta-Karakhi Zhex, “The Venomous Makuta Way”, a style of fighting similar to, but more ferocious than Mata-Taekworu Zhex. Drakuan then renamed him Shinorax and gave him a membership for the Brotherhood of Makuta. As a member of the Brotherhood, he plays an important role as a fierce fighter & covert specialist.

*Creators note: I made the blades to his swords out of two Air Katana, since I couldn't find any blades in that shape.

When I first made Shinorax, I intended to make him a "Visorak Ninja".

Old pictures

Although it wasn't intentional for Draku to be in the Background in this picture. I think it turned out better than I thought, since Shinorax works for Draku.

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga Even besides the lack of distractions for the eye, the colors on the moc came out much better on a white backdrop. Looks a lot better now!
Thanks. But just out of curiousity, by "lack of distractions for the eye", what do you mean?

Quoting Toa of Sushi ! Innovative use of the minifig scale visorak, though I'm not entirely sure if it suits this MOC. Otherwise, nice job!
Thanks for the compliment. I used the mini-visorak for Shinorax's storyline. But how doesn't it suit the MOC?

Quoting Mr. Cab I think taking out one of those multiple colors on this guy might help. Good start though. ;)
Thanks man. If you thought this guy had multiple colors, look at the first model of Shinorax. *chuckles to self* But I see your point.

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga Nice design! If you photograph using a posterboard or a white sheet as a backdrop, your creations will stand out much better.

Quoting Everox Toa of Plasma Very Nice! I like the use of visorak for the mask. Only thing I can complain about is the size of the pics, you can enlarge them by changing the picture type to "large" on the screen where you pick the main photo! :)
I never thought about doing my photos that way. Thanks for sharing. Tell me more.
