Battleship USS Missouri
Battleship USS Missouri
About this creation
This is my LEGO model of the Battleship USS Missouri. It is 150 studs long which measures out to be 47 inches. There are about 1,700 bricks used. I built the model to scale which is 1:230.

Here is a picture of the USS Missouri in front of a small sign that I made. The Battleship sits on top of a small blue stand to keep it from tipping on its keel.

A close-up picture of the aft end of the battleship. There are 4 propellers and 2 rudders, which cannot be seen very easily in the photo.

The two Seaplanes located on the aft end of the battleship were Curtis SC-1 Seahawks, used for reconnaissance and gunnery spotting.

A picture of the bow. 90% of the hull is made up of 2 x 4 bricks. There are a few 2x6 and 2x8 bricks along the keel.

A close-up picture of the bow. I did not use any "sloped" bricks except on the very front.

The Missouri has nine 16-inch guns on three gun turrets.

Here is a picture of the superstructure where you can see some of the 5-inch guns.

Here is the Missouri on top of my coat rack.

Any chance you would share or sell the instructions and parts list? With the movie Battleship my son really wants to make this battleship. Too bad the real Lego doesn't have your kit. Only the Hasbro knock off does and it is no comparison to yours! Please email me at noelorsak@yahoo.com

WOOOOOW. What a fantastic building of the USS Missouri. How much time do you needed to build it. My creations are just as good as a furt when you look this. I`m new and have two creations. Look for Mccafe or Dagger. I would be lucky if you write something about my creation.
