About this creation

Here is my model of a late 1950s Vespa scooter, built in 1 to 1 or life size scale.

Tan was chosen as the primary colour to give it a more reto feel. Additional red and yellow racing stripes were added to give more visual interest and to reduce the amount of tan bricks to use. (I have limited tan bricks)

The older models of Vespa scooters are longer in size compared to what we commonly seen today. The seat is a bicycle seat instead of the long leather seat we see today. Should there be a pillion rider, a additional bicycle seat can be fitted behind the first. In my model I decided to make a metal rack instead.

I have also added my iPhone in some of the images for scale of the scooter.

The brakes of the scooter is also rubber band loaded, meaning they can spring back to original location after it has been pressed.

Quoting Family Vuurzoon Hi Eugene, Woow, incredible! This is a professional Lego creation. Did you use Lego bricks only? I can imagine that it's difficult to get sufficient structural strength for such a large MOC made from Lego only. Great job.
Only Lego. The middle spine located between the left and right foot plate is a concealed technic truss. Its pretty strong.

Impressive in so many ways! Although, I must say, the number of tan bricks you have does not qualify as 'limited'. XD
