Pimped 7642 Semi Truck
This is my modified version of the Semi Truck from the 7642 City Garage set.
About this creation

As I do with almost every set this one got pimped too. I didn't changed the original color scheme but made small improvements on nearly every part of the model. Hope you like it.

Quoting Deston Fire & Rescue Really MOTD?
I wouldn't have noticed this without your comment ;-) Really surprising. I don't know if their are any rules for MOTD or if it just random. There are much better models on MOCpages for MOTD imho.

Quoting sam the first not bad, but why so many likes?
I was not very active here over the last two years. So I didn't even noticed it until your comment. To anwser your question in short: I have no idea. It looks like a lot of spam accounts have 'liked' it - for whatever reason, strange thing. I'd guess about 10 likes are real, others are made by spammers. There is nothing I can do about it and I don't care about the number of likes anyway. Maybe the admins clean the user database from time to time to remove those spam accounts. Then those false likes should also go, I guess.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 very nice customization on this model! i love 6 wheelers best, but, your tons of intricately selective detailing style make up for it,welcome to the city scene my friend, you re welcome to comment on my page any day! ok,just found this is your only real creation, sorry,i wont comment digital stuff,i hope you re at least building a garage of some kind with the rest of the kit, because you seem quite gifted in the building department, amongst other things, good luck!
Thanks for your nice comment, mate. The pimped garage stands in my son's room, but still needs work, but I haven't enough spare parts at the moment to enhance it further. No problem if you don't want to comment on digital creations, but I'm interested about the "why not". Would be nice if you would say some words about the reason(s). Btw. all digital models I have presented so far have a counterpart in real bricks ;-) For instance my latest creation the Black Pickup I have build yesterday in parallel in front of my laptop and with real bricks. And after finishing the black one I build a nearly identical yellow version for my son. So it was really a great Lego sunday.

Quoting Angka Utama I have a favor to ask if you don't mind.Would you be interested in building alternative models for LEGO sets you have? Because most new official sets don't have alternative models(usually found at the back part of the box) anymore.
Hmm, I know where you are coming from. The last sets with pictures of alternative models that I can remember was the 7890 Ambulance and 7239 Fire Truck. Funnily enough the 7239 is one of the few sets I have not "tuned" yet, but I have a modified version of the 7890 and also a MOC which was inspired by the alternative model of this very set. But back to your question - "Would you be interested in building alternative models for LEGO sets you have?". Well, there is no simple yes or no as it depends on how you define "alternative model". If you mean building MOCs just with parts from a particular set than my answer is more or less no, sorry. (I'll explain why below) But if you mean "alternative" in a wider fashion then my answer is definitively, yes. With "wider" I mean improving models by adding more details or features or building them in different color schemes and so on. So why I'm not really interested in building alternative models just with the parts available in a particular set? Short answer: It's just not my style of building. Long answer: It might be fun and a challenge for other builders, but not for me. Don't get me wrong, I have seen many creative and cool looking alternatives here on MOCpages and on other sites that were really amazing, but I wouldn't limit myself on using parts for a model when I have lots of them in my sorting boxes ;-) Anyway thanks for your comment and happy bricking.
