Liebherr LTR 1100
Model of a Liebherr LTR crawler crane built in minifig scale.
About this creation
General view:

This crane doesn't have outriggers, but it has extensible chassis, which provides stability during lifting. I used two 1x8 gear racks and some additional gears to get it working properly.

The boom is raised by two pneumatic cylinders powered from a small pump:

The operator's cabin can be also raised:

Fully raised and extended boom:

Marek, this is really great. I love how much functionality you have added. I've never seen a pivoting cab on a vehicle like this. Great MOC. Regards, Eric.

Quoting 2LegoOrNot2Lego Ingmar Spijkhoven Nice model, nice to play with and it has good looks too. In my opinion the undercarriage needs to be a little stronger, but never the less I like it a lot...
Yes, it should be stronger, but I couldn't make it stronger. Prototype was weaker, but adding those 8' axles with stop helped a bit.

Now thatīs a beast of a crane! Congrats, Marek, on a vey realistic and very well built crane on treads. I love those things! When I was in Ann Arbor (Michigan), I saw some gigantic "Manitowoc" cranes like that. One of them was higher than a 10-storey building - absolutely amazing... Anyways, awesome job! Best regards, Steffen
