Splatter and gore vig. Lots of fun.
About this creation
Heath's awesome entry.
Just in case: 2010 MocOlympics homepage.
It's a beautiful day outside to painfully dismember that pesky neighbor of yours. Unfortunately, this neighborhood serial killer didn't choose the best place to do the job.
I thought of including a wood chipper because whenever I see one on the street, I always imagine how awful (and messy) it would be if a human went through one. If you've seen the Coen brothers' film Fargo, you know what I'm talking about.

I really would have liked to make this scene larger, but it is supposed to be a vignette, built upon an 8x8 base.

As you can see, Judges, my SNOT base is almost exactly the same size as an 8x8 plate. Don't disqualify me, please!
Thank you all for visiting, Judges included, and if you're in the games and yet to post your entry, good luck. Heath, I look forward to seeing what you conjure up.

Haha. This is awesome. I can say with certian, that this is the best lego body through wood chipper I've seen.
Thank you! Considering that "bodies through wood chippers" is such a popular theme, that means a lot. ;-) |

It is a nice build - I would have dq'd you with that much of an overhang, but it is a moot point. Your competitor received my vote. Lee.
Even though it said in the category description that we're allowed to build beyond the 8x8 base, as long as nothing else touches the ground? |

Excellent job my friend! I'm so glad you didn't drop out and we were able to go toe-to-toe!! Your build is fantastic! The body spewin' wood chipper is an excellent touch! I do agree with Gio that you should have named it "bloody mary" LMFAO!!! Anyway, good luck with the judges!!
I have been defeated! Well done, and best of luck in round 3. |

I enjoy your MOC greatly, unfortunately I must go with the sicker of the two great models and vote for Heath. The dual aspect of his approach made the difference. |

Nick, your entry was great! I like the macabre humor you went with (gio's suggestion was funny too. Bloody mary... nice). In the end my vote went with Heath and his slow reveal of the disturbing goings on underfoot. Good luck with the other judges! ~ Chris. |
