minifig storage system.
About this creation
I needed a way to store minifigs that would leave them undamaged, especially stickered and classic space figs with metallic paint. Before I would just use a plastic tub, with the "valuable" figs in plastic bags. All that's needed are bulk bricks and spare baseplates. Enjoy!

I managed to fit 137 minifigs in this one layer. Using different methods, it could probably fit more.
I used roughly 200 4 x 2 Bricks, stacked 5 bricks tall. No tiles or plates needed, just bricks and baseplate.

The top bin for loose figs and pieces. Here I made the sides 1-stud thick, which isnt as sturdy, at least not without some plates on the top layer.
I would definitely use at least 2-stud thick wall if I started with the big 48 x 48 plate.

To save space, any MOC using an appropriately sized baseplate works. Here's one using 32 x 32.
I'm not too hot on the color scheme, but I had more yellow and blue bricks than I'd know what to do with
If i were to do this again, I'd probably use a clone brand so I wouldnt deplete my precious LEGO.
